Separating can be difficult and stressful. The Family Resolution Hub understands that each family dynamic is unique and that discussions in mediation should be focused on your family’s particular needs and issues. We ensure that the mediation is conducted in a safe environment, meaning that we offer face-to-face, Zoom, lawyer-assisted, and shuttle sessions. Prior to the mediation, an intake session will be conducted with each party to gain an insight into what issues need to be discussed, any pre-action steps such as obtaining valuation, and any safety risks that need to be accounted for during the mediation.

Family law encourages mediation to attempt to resolve decisions regarding children, prior to filing with the Courts. Throughout the mediation, we will help you communicate with each other and assist you to use techniques designed to facilitate an understanding of the other person’s point of view, with the purpose of arriving at a workable solution for everyone involved. If you are unable to proceed with the mediation due to safety risks, there is a refusal to attend or if you have attempted mediation but are unable to agree on a resolution, a 60I certificate can be issued for you to be able to apply to the Courts for a judge to decide for you.
